Drycleaning is not actually a dry process. Your clothes do get wet but not with water. The cleaning fluid used is a liquid solvent and your garments are immersed in this solvent and cleaned. Early dry cleaners used a variety of solvents, but now perchioroethylene (PERC) has become the solvent of choice for the drycleaning industry, internationally.
Drycleaning removes oils that cannot be removed by ordinary washing, lessens shrinkage/ stretching and helps to preserve the orginal color.
Laundering is a process where the garments are washed and cleaned with water using specialized laundry chemicals and detergents. It is a totally wet process. At Blue Waves we use only internationally acclaimed chemicals.
At Blue Waves your garments are steam pressed on a suction table. This makes your shirts and tops "criso & wrinkle free"
We roll press/calendar your valuable sarees and dhotis. Flat made-ups like bed sheets, pillow covers, cushion covers, table cloth, table mats etc. are automatically ironed in the flat work ironer.
