Dry Cleaning
Drycleaning is not actually a dry process. Your clothes do get wet but not with water. The cleaning fluid used is a liquid solvent and your garments are immersed in this solvent and cleaned. Early dry cleaners used a variety of solvents, but now perchioroethylene (PERC) has become the solvent of choice for the drycleaning industry, internationally.
Drycleaning removes oils that cannot be removed by ordinary washing, lessens shrinkage/ stretching and helps to preserve the orginal color.
